Day 1: Cape Town - Lodge |
|
|
| |
On arrival at Cape Town International, you will be transferred to a Lodge in Cape Town close to the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront where all paperwork and other formalities will be completed.
The afternoon is at leisure for you to explore all that Cape Town has to offer. (D) |

Day 2: Lamberts Bay - Camp |
|
| |
We will depart soon after breakfast along the West Coast to our first stop at Lamberts Bay , en-route visiting Bird Island and Langebaan. (B,L,D) |

Day 3: Vioolsdrift - Camp |
|
| |
After a morning boat trip in the harbour to view dolphins and whales before heading north through Namaqualand – well known for its displays of wild spring flowers – via Springbok to Vioolsdrift . This is to be our camp for the next 2 nights, situated on the banks of the Orange River. (B,L,D) |

Day 4: Vioolsdrift - Camp |
|
|
| |
Today we spend our time exploring the Orange River by canoe. (B,L,D) |

Day 5: Fish River Canyon - Camp |
|
|
| |
Crossing the Namibian border, we head for the world's second largest canyon – The Fish River Canyon , which reaches a depth of 549m. Here we will be camping at Hobas Campsite. (B,L,D) |

Day 6: Lüderitz - Camp |
|
|
| |
After visiting a few of the viewpoints of the Canyon, we depart for Lüderitz. En-route we have a good chance of seeing the “Desert Horses” that roam the area. Lüderitz will be where we overnight. (B,L,D) |

Day 7: Tiras Mountain Conservancy - Camp |
|
|
| |
After breakfast, we join a guided tour of the Kolmans Kop ghost town, once a thriving village during the Diamond Mining Era.
On conclusion of the tour, we board the truck and travel to our private campsite on the edge of the Namib Desert. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Tiras Mountain Conservancy - Camp |
|
|
| |
Today it's time for a bit of adventure, with a guided 4x4 dune and mountain tour in the area. (B,L,D) |

Day 9: Sesriem - Camp |
|
|
| |
This morning we continue north to Sesriem , our next campsite. Sesriem, the gateway to Sossusvlei is named after a 30m deep canyon carved by the Tsauchab River. The name is a reference to the fact that pioneer farmers had to use 6 ox thongs to lower buckets into the canyon.
After camp has been set up, we take a drive to Sossusvlei for sundowners. (B,L,D)

Day 10: Swakopmund - Camp |
|
|
| |
An early morning visit to Dune 1 is how our day begins, after which we head off via Solitare and the Kuiseb Canyon to Swakopmund – Namibias premier holiday resort.
The town contains a wealth of German colonial architecture and typical German cakes and confectionary can be enjoyed.
Our campsite tonight is close to town and affords a perfect opportunity to experience the nightlife of the town. (B,L,D)

Day 11: Swakopmund - Camp |
|
|
| |
Today you are at leisure to participate in the many “dune” activities available such as quad biking, sand boarding or hiking. (B,L,D) |

Day 12: Windhoek - Lodge |
|
|
| |
The final leg of our journey sees us traveling to Windhoek , en-route viewing the magnificent Wewitscia plain and Goanikontes, the moon landscape. In Windhoek, we will spend 2 nights in Lodge accommodation. (B,L,D) |

Day 13: Windhoek - Lodge |
|
|

Spend the day exploring the city and all it has to offer. (B,L,D) |

Day 14: Windhoek |
|
|
| |
After a relaxing morning, your safari comes to an end with a transfer to Windhoek International Airport. (B) |
